MELA 7 Leadership Masterclass

The MELA Masterclass is a 10 day experiential program in building a global profile. Leadership means many things to many people, and carries with it many different requirements and styles. Yet behind its many forms and faces, the challenges are always the same. These challenges are personal, technical and strategic. Nothing will prepare you quite as well, as the MELA Masterclass.

MELA 7 took place in Qatar at the Sharq Village & Spa - and hosted thirty-seven amazing leaders.  We could not have imagined a more wonderful 10-day experience. Most importantly, we enjoyed the company of old and new friends. MELA became a home away from home. We would like to thank our generous MELA 7 sponsors who supported us throughout the Masterclass, namely; Shell Companies in Qatar, Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, Qatar Leadership Center and Katara Hospitality.

A special thanks also goes out to all the great MELA 7 participants that are making a difference by sharing their experiences and giving as much as they are receiving.

Thank you to all the Small Groups Discussion speakers for sharing their years of expertise and offering their thoughts on their subject matter, they are:

Danish Farhan, Founder & CEO, Xische
Dr. Antoine Eid, Managing Partner, Leadership Consultants LLC
Brice Bay, CEO, Enveritas

Rafi Baghdjian, CEO, Shell Abu Dhabi

We started a new day with a pen in one hand and a coffee in the other. We are in the Middle East, so coffee all day, everyday! Understanding yourself and others continued with participants siding with their MBTI personality type groups and learning more about their personality traits. Insightful discussions about how they act and react to situations allowed them to better understand and empathise with each other.
